Perhaps most important, the Morehead-Cain is truly an experience that will last a lifetime. Over the course of their four undergraduate years, Morehead-Cain Scholars begin to forge relationships with the network of more than 2,600 Morehead Alumni, who include some of the most influential and prominent people in a wide array of careers around the globe. They meet and work with Summer Enrichment Program sponsors in the U.S. and abroad, many of whom become mentors and potential employers.

Because of our unique program, Morehead-Cain Scholars have a distinct advantage when applying to graduate schools. The Morehead-Cain Program provides life experience and global understanding, which enhance the Scholars’ maturity and critical-thinking ability and make them great candidates not only for graduate school admission, but also for prestigious graduate scholarships, as well as for employment opportunities.
